To add more icing in the ‘Pwnage cake’, Musclenerd (Pwgnage tool developer) has made a tweet recently about incorporating Limera1n + Pwnage Tool and Comex hacks (developer of jailbreakme) to make a untethered jailbreak for all our A4 iDevices in future platforms of Apple. (iOS 4.1, iOS 4.2 and beyond)
This is really a good news for all the devices created this 2010 (iPhone 4, iPod Touch 4g and iPad) but a wake up call, to buy a new one, for those older iDevices. What Musclenerd is trying to pinpoint out on his tweet is that the time for an all in one web-based untethered jailbreak hack may come very soon for future iOS versions.
Perhaps the reason why every jailbreak tool seems to become possible to combine now is because they all share the same bootrom exploit of Geohot. Instead of using a different bootrom exploit (SHAtter) for Greenpois0n and Pwnage Tool (which is now reserved for future use). Anyway, the real funday will be on Sunday and it appears Pwnage Tool is going to be awesome based on this video.
