Want to know the greatest and latest news for the Jailbreaking community? Well, it’s now confirmed that the recently revealed iOS 4.3 GM revealed by Apple today has already been jailbroken by MuscleNerd’s Pwnage Tool 4.2 and you can get the full instructions here.
For those who are too surprised, you shouldn’t be. You see, this iOS 4.3 is meant for developers only but this JB proves a lot because it could mean that on March 11, when the official iOS 4.3 has arrived, it could already be available for jailbreak on different iDevices.
Then again, there’s this looming question is this jailbreak is compatible with the iPad 2? As you can see, its hardware has been modified and there could be some discrepancy on its “bootrom-exploits” compared to iPhone 4, iPod Touch 4G and Apple TV 2. Anyway, lets just hope our developers can figure out a way when that happens.
As for the iOS 4.3 Jailbreak, it won’t be as easy as your usual Pwnage JB. And this requires you to download Pwnage Tool 4.2, access to the iOS 4.3 developers download page, PwnageTool for iOS 4.3GM and this one only works for Mac OS X. Again, if you are a normal user who has a access with the iOS 4.3 GM, we advice you not to try this JB and just wait for the official jailbreak arriving after March 11.
