Now that the iOS 4.3 has been officially revealed today, along with some bruises for some users, one should understand that the next update for this could be the iOS 5 already.
As we reported earlier, the iOS 5 is the next anticipated update for Apple just because the iOS 4.3 covers only some minor changes like personal hotspot for GSM models (AT&T), Home Sharing with the iTunes 10.2 without jailbreaking it and AirPlay features. If you are a keen observant, this is something that should have been revealed since the iOS 4.
Anyway, the point is simple, it appears Apple is prepping up for all its core-updates to be given under one event. If you can still remember last year, the iOS 4 was a giant leap from its previous updates, which was called as iPhone OS 3.xx at that time. Here’s to say that the iOS 5 has a good possibility to follow that mantra once again. The only question is when?
According to some insider, the next Apple media event can arrive as early as April, and in fact, Apple would even take the time to reveal it on its San Francisco HQ along with its newly-fangled cloudbased application, MobileMe.
As you all know, Apple has been planning to create a deep-integration of its iDevices towards the cloud and by launching MobileMe, this could be the start.
In addition to that, we also believe the iOS 5 would have a good chance of delivering those “new multitasking gestures” leaked last month, that didn’t happen on iOS 4.3. Although, I have a feeling its release should be near on June – the arrival of the iPhone 5.
