iPad 2 has just been released. The biggest question of all: Should we buy it? Should iPad users trade their old one and get this new gadget?

To start with the similarities, both device don a 9.7-inch LED-backlit IPS LCD with 1024 x 768 pixel resolution. They are also available with the same storage options: 16, 32 and 64GB. Apart from that, both iPads 1 and 2 feature 802.11 a/b/g/n Wi-Fi, 2.1 + EDR Bluetooth and a 3-axis Accelerometer.
We wouldn’t want to preach the difference, so see for yourself on the table below (courtesy of Engadget):

Those are just the difference in specs, we haven’t laid out the new features available in iPad 2. Since it comes with Apple’s latest technology in OS, the iOS 4.3 offers more than the standard iPad, such as faster mobile browsing, iTunes home sharing and better AirPlay. One thing’s for sure, the iPad2 is remarkably suited for tablet gaming.
Before you make a judgment, know that upon iPad 2’s release, Apple has cut the original iPad’s price with $100 off. On the other hand, Apple has decided to keep the iPad 2′s price point the same with its first-gen slate – which is very smart. It’s quite obvious that the new iPad tablet is the clear winner here. The 16GB iPad 2 (WiFi) will be available for $499 and $629 for the WiFi + 3G model. It will be available in Black and White colors starting March 11.
