In the wake of the iPad 2 rumor-mill that keeps on leaking profusely on the web, as usual, it appears there’s a freshly baked claims from some insider claiming that they have found the actual screen for the next-generation iPad a.k.a iPad 2.
Check out these pictures.

Let me repeat, the screen you are seeing on the image is said to be the actual display going to be utilized on the production of the iPad 2 and what’s more intriguing is, iFixYouri unearthed this model number: LP097X02-SLN1 which is somewhat similar with the first-gen iPad’s display part number (LP097X02-SLA3).
In addition to that, it was said this display is even lighter and thinner for approximately 1-mm than the original bezel of the former iPad display. It will also have a surrounding frame which makes it possible for designers to tape it around.
Engadget claims that other pundits shared their insight over the leak display and claimed it could be the LG Phillips 9.7-inch 1024×768 H-IPS due to its similarity with the part number of the alleged iPad 2 Display. If this is correct, we’ll have another hodge podge of mix stories again if the next iPad would only have the same resolution with first-gen or not, defeating the earlier prediction that iPad 2 wouldn’t have a Retina Display but would be augmented with a better resolution.
By the way, all of these panels came from where else? Other than China!
