The wait will soon be over, Appleās iPad 2 is coming out! This news was announced by Steve Jobs during an event early this week.

The upgraded multi-touch tablet is scheduled for release in the US on March 11 to be followed by 26 other countries including UK and other parts of Europe on March 25. What was surprising though is that the March 25th release will also include simultaneous launch in Japan and Australia.
It was likewise announced that the iPad 2 will have the same price point of $499 for the Wifi 16GB and $629 for the Wifi + 3G models. This is quite a bargain considering that iPad 2 underwent significant upgrades in hardware as well as its dual core processor.

The Apple iPad 2 is 33 percent thinner and up to 15 percent lighter than the earlier iPad and it comes with two cameras (front and rear) for FaceTime and HD video recording. It also boasts of a dual-core A5 chip which makes it work twice as fast with nine times the graphic performance making it more exciting for gamers. Just like the first-gen iPad, it still has the same 10-hour battery life.
Apple released its first iPad in April 2010 and easily found success by selling a record of 3 million devices in just 80 days. The company is expecting more clients anticipating the release of iPad 2.
