Another day, another Apple news and this time, its all about reports about some unhappy customers who ordered their Verizon iPad 2 and still haven’t been able to receive it today.
According to 9to5Mac, its insiders managed to receive tipster reports suggesting that Verizon iPad 2 from China are being returned to Apple. The reason? Still unknown, but it seems these are all Red V’s iPads shipped by FedEx.
Likewise, this matched the previous problems experienced by a large cluster of users who still haven’t been able to received their Verizon iPads a couple of days from now. Interestingly, some of them suggest a day before they actually have the iPad 2, it was mysteriously sent back by FedEx to Apple, which hints the company is concealing some imminent problems for Verizon iPad 2 – something they don’t want the public to know for now.
As for the laest update, an Apple representative replied stating that Apple has given “all the stores” a list of serial numbers to scan. If you’re unit was a match, then it should be returned to Apple. These are all Verizon iPads (the latest version), which started on Monday (june 5) and this process should continue until tomorrow (June 11). “I had over one hundred to send back”.
Likewise, you really can’t say this is a recall since these products haven’t been touched by our buyers just yet. Likewise, this sounds only a minor problem and we do hope this issue isn’t the same case for all the Verizon iPad 2 that ever shipped since day one.

The Verizon’s 3g network access issue due to the same MEID code has not attained the critical issue status. The users with this problem are serviced well with a exchange or a scan. Glad it was a correctable issue and not a grave mistake for the carrier and the users.
