With barely a month before the purported release of the next-gen iPad 3, there had been several rumors and speculations that some of the promised specifications and features of the device have not materialized.

iPad promised an A6 chip with quad-core processor but there had been words that although it will still have the A6 chip just like its predecessor it will still run on dual-core CPU. That can be disappointing but I guess iPad aficionados will just have to wait for an official announcement or just wait until the new iPad 3 is out in the market.
Fortunately, the new iPad 3 might still have the Retina display with a powerful screen resolution of 2048 x 1536. This allows users to enjoy the high definition quality with the double resolution display. In addition this latest iPad would also feature an improved built-in HD front-facing camera and a 4G LTE connectivity.
Another rumor has it is that Apple wasn’t able to live by its promise that the new iPad 3 will be a lot thinner and lightweight. News has it that because of the larger battery and the retina display, the new iPad 3 will be at least a millimeter thicker over-all. The bigger battery was incorporated to the new model of iPad to accommodate the inclusion of a 4G LTE radio.
The product is said to be released in March of this year and expected to cost between $400 to $700 depending on the features and other aspects of the model.
