It is no question that a lot of people want to be always ahead, including with the different technologies we now have. What we want is to have the most up-to-date devices offered in the market. But it seems like the release of Apple’s newest iPad, the iPad 4, does not sound like much of good news to Apple patrons.
3rd-gen iPad users are bummed by the recently outed iPad 4. The unexpected announcement seems to burn out the iPad 3 users taking into account that it was only 7 months since the release of the iPad 3. What is more upsetting is that iPad 3 is now considered obsolete while its precursor is still on sale. This would definitely put patrons, who have fallen in line long enough just to get a hand of the iPad 3, at rage.
Apple is offering upgrades from iPad 3 to iPad 4, which we see is a way to pacify these burned out consumers. But this is not total good news, the exchange is only for those who have purchased their iPad 3 in the last 30 days. Another let down is that the upgrade is not a company-wide policy. It depends on the will of your local stores if they want to extend the 14-day exchange policy or just simply stick to it.
For those iPad 3 users who want to have the upgrade, better check out local stores if they are offering it. It may take some time that consumers will get over this fuss, but I guess we’ll just have to live with it.
