For those who have missed the HP announcement today, you should know that the company has finally killed the name “palm” for its products as it unleashes two new smartphones (Veer / Pre 3) and a WebOS 3.0 tablet (Touchpad) which no doubt looks absolutely amazing in its magical capabilities.
Interestingly, as of the moment, we are already receiving some “versus” matches between the HP Touchpad and its prime nemesis – the Apple iPad. So without furthermore ado, check them out!
At first glance, you might say the Touchpad in itself is a beauty – and I totally agree! I mean, seeing it as charming as the iPad is definitely a huge-leap from the company who delivered that fat slate in which up today isn’t yet being revealed on the market.
Appearance set aside, there’s no doubt that the new tablet eats the iPad when it comes to processor power packing with a 1.2GHz dual-core Snapdragon CPU – it’s even powerful than the almighty Xoom tablet! And yep, this one’s got it all like a 1.3MP front-facing camera, gyroscope, and its newly fangled Touchstone technology.
Anyway, we all know that Touchpad would be revealed later this year and at that time, it’s obvious that the iPad 2 is already launched and that my friends is a different type of story already if you know what I mean!
