Looks like things are getting out of control of the Apple Company that series of high jacking and jail breaking is going around their iPhone. It may be a bad news for the company but for some users who are getting headaches with their iPhones and with the company that holds it, they were surely an opportunity.

David Wang best known as Planetbeing had already done great jobs in creating downloadable Android port for iPhone 2G, and now, he had done again an excellent job with a downloadable iPhone3G Android port. Instructions on how to install the Android iPhone 3G is also available. Like the one in the Anroid port for iPhone 2G, the device will be in its dual boot setup that you will have both the iPhone OS and Android on your device.

Once your iPhone had been downloaded with an Android OS it will be running just like an ordinary Android phone with all the features and everything. However, although this is really cool, it is not recommended to be use regularly since it still has some bugs and performance issues.  The phone, while running Android should not be expected to perform faster or even as fast when it is in its normal OS. Also, there are times when you will need to restore your device especially if you are able to do something unexpected with it.  Media Syncing also is an activity that is not possible with your new Android run iPhone that loading media to your device will just irritate you.  And lastly, although this new stuff will surely excite you, its power management function is still not that perfect that you can only use it for about an hour.

Before doing anything with your iPhone it is important to keep in mind that doing the downloading of the Android OS on your iPhone is really a big risk. Users should be able to prepare their selves in whatever that may happen to their iPhone once they decided to have Android running it. But surely the risks are worth taking if you really believe that Android is better than your current iPhone OS. It is very much required that your phone had been jail broken in order to apply this download. There are available instructions on how to jailbreak your phone.

Are you certain that this will work on the 3GS? My understanding is that it only works on 2G/3G not 3GS.
