Now that iPhone 4S is almost here, it’s obvious the demand for it to be jailbroken will surge once the device hits its official launch next week, or so.
For those who are unaware, iOS 5 will be released two days earlier on October 12 for iPod Touch, iPhone and iPad users. Likewise, all of these devices can already be jailbroken by Comex’s Jailbreakme 3.0 site. However, this only works for iOS 4.3.3.
Last month, we gave an amazing news of how p0sixninja – the iPhone developer who brought greenpois0n jailbreak last November — revealed his discovery of up to five userland exploits. This bug mainly resides on software which he hints can be patched by a software update. Then again, pundits believe it will be difficult for Apple to cure these basing from the previous Jailbreaks made for iOS.
As of now, we’re expecting the iPhone-dev team to reveal the iOS 5 jailbreak for iPhone 4S as soon as they finalized the tool – which is by the way – a untethered hack so you won’t need to connect your iGadget to your computer everytime you reboot it.
Hopefully, this will truly be “the most amazing jailbreak yet” since we all know, there’s an issue reported last time that through iOS 5 OTA functionality, Apple can release automatic updates to patch any software-based exploit found on the platform.
Let’s see how this one plays out!
