I do applaud the virility of our tech-insiders about getting their mission accomplished whenever its about revealing a newly patented technology, especially if the one we’re talking about is Apple and its mythical set of devices. It’s alluring to see and expect something from these patents but one should know that it isn’t healthy either to get your hopes too up because who knows when will these patents be infused on a company’s new creation? For all we know, it could be a decade from now. Just take this patent for Apple solar powered devices as a bright example.

As of today, it appears the house for patents in USA is revealing another technology going to be claimed first by Apple, and that is, giving the ability for its future iDevices to have a 3D capability sans the 3D glasses! If you have seen the Nintendo 3DS then you might say this new patent is somehow related although I will say to you now that what Apple is gearing for next is something out of this world. Check out the pictures.

To explain in Layman, this new technology will enable the device to bring a seamless 3D experience towards the user by calculating its distance / angle from the viewer’s perspective thus creating the impression of a 3D effect. Check it all here.
Although, I have a feeling we won’t be seeing it soon on iPhone 5 or iPad 2. Wanna bet with me?

Apple might be the first American company that puts 3D on a smartphone, but several companies have already started making 3D phones and tabs that doesnt require 3D glasses. In Asia they are already out, and LG is comming out with one worldwide in a few months called Optimus 3D. You can record and play anything in 3D, it also have 3D games etc. LGs phone have 2x 5 MP cameras which is supported by a dual core CPU and a dual RAM system.
You should be careful saying Apple is the first at anything, seeing how they claim to be the first at things that have been done before, some things even for over 10 years. Theyre gonna say that theyre the first with 3D phones too but they wont be.
