iPhone 5: Quad Core Specs on A6 CPU Goes Imminent Again Before Launch

Posted on 01 December 2011 by pinoytutorial

Well what’s up iPhone world! We just receive an update with our previous report about the three giant secrets found on iOS 5.1 beta update which not only includes some details about the next Apple TV, but also contain interesting information about a Sprint iPad and iPhone 5 release on a date that shouldn’t be too far behind.

Interestingly, sources suggest the leak also hints the possibility of the next-generation iPhone to be able to support quad-core type of CPU – something that’s very plausible since we all know Android manufacturers are also gearing up with their Tegra 3 powered handsets next year.

For those who are unaware, iPhone 5 running a quad-core chip is nothing new in the industry as it was reported last October that Apple is planning to partner with a company which manufactures SoC (System on a chip) supporting quad-core for mobile devices. Likewise, its most probable name will be called A6 following the Cupertino giant’s first dual-core A5 CPU. However, there’s still a lot of vagueness with this report. For example, the rumored company going to manufacture these A6 chips will be Samsung in which we all know Apple has the hot eye in terms of lawsuit charges against the korean company that looks far from over.

Whatever the case may be, enthusiasts are expecting an iPhone 5 next year after getting entangled with the cosmetic hardware upgrades infused with iPhone 4S.
