iPhone 5 Release For 2012: Redesigned Aluminum Back and New Look

Posted on 30 December 2011 by pinoytutorial

People are not yet getting over the iPhone 4S as it just came out a few months ago, but Apple is already giving the teasers on the next one— currently known as iPhone 5 for now. Thanks to BGR, we have learned some few details on the next Apple smartphone.

iPhone 5 new design 1 iPhone 5 Release For 2012: Redesigned Aluminum Back and New Look

Reportedly, the next iPhone will be launching in the fall next year—the same time that the iPhone 4S was launched this year. This smartphone will be different from the iPhone 4 or 4S because Apple plans to use a rubber or plastic material that is similar to the bumper cases. This material will be used as a bezel that will surround the front edge of the phone for two purposes.

The first one is joining the glass iPhone face with a new aluminum back plate. The second purpose is to “cover a redesigned antenna system that surrounds the device, allowing Apple to build the rear case out of aluminum without having to use a large plastic insert above the antennas as the company does on its iPad 2 Wi-Fi + 3G”. There is also evidence that aluminum materials will be used on the new model. In this way, the new iPhone will be sturdier and durable. Aside from that, there are also the earlier reports that it will have a larger display of 4 inches.

For now, these are just rumors and could change since it’s still twelve months before its said release. If you’re very interested in this, better watch out for updates and news on it.
