In case you’ve missed our report today, you should know that the first potential leak for the iPod Touch 5G has already been revealed. And eventhough some pundits are still crossing their fingers until they see the official device, it’s obvious that the leak portrayed a lot of possible specifications that leads to the future specs for the unreleased iPhone 5.
As you can see, the iPhone 5 release date is expected to be delayed this June and would be pushed around on September or until next year depending on Apple’s decision. With that, any leaks about its actual look or specifications remains minimal. However, with the first leak of the iPod Touch 5G today, it’s obvious that most of its new features would be ported on the next-gen iPhone as well — following the cycle release of iPhone-iTouch holding a much similarity of the two.

In the leak unearthed, the most obvious change is the replacement of its home button into a capacitive one, something that’s highly expected with the iPhone 5 as well. Although, it appears the size of its screen still remains the same unlike the predictions that iPhone 5 will have a bigger display.
Then again, the leak was an old stock which was traced to be manufactured last year, so Apple may have already changed some of its subtle details. With that being said, the arrival of the next-gen iPhone would certainly become alive once again. What do you think?
