iPhone Holographic Display Is Real, Do It Yourself Today

Posted on 15 October 2012 by author

Holograms can now be created simply if you have the right materials along with your iPhone 4S. This was showcased by a Japanese man who showed how it can be done through a YouTube video. In the video, one can see a holographic character dancing around inside the prism. The best thing about this is that it is relatively easy to do.

If you want to set it up on your own, just read on (this is based on the YouTube video description). First, one needs a -3.75 index prism crystal that is placed on a flat surface where small cardboards stand around it. You also need your iPhone 4S and this is placed on the cardboard stands in order for the screen to be directly above the point of prism. When one turns on the iPhone, image is displayed within the prism as a three (3) dimensional hologram.

People have this fascination for “iPhone hologram” and to prove our point, one just needs to do a quick search about the topic. What sets the initiative apart made by the Japanese man is that it is real and made the same way as the giant holographic displays shown back in CES 2011.

With holograms being a do it yourself (DIY) thing, who knows what can be done in the future with the minds creativity? See the rest of the video below.
