Its been a long while since we last reported something about the real iPod Nano 6G. I mean, for the past couple of months, the only thing that we are hearing for this device are the watches being ported towards it, or this interesting hack that may blossom out to a real “jailbreak” in the future. Hence, maybe some of you are already wondering what’s the real status for the latest and greatest iPod Nano creation as of the moment?
Well, the good news is, Apple is launching out the first ever software update for this little fella. And for the first time in the history of your iPod Nano 6G, you will have the chance to turn it off completely. You see, since this player has been marketed last year, there’s no way you can turn it off, and the only closest thing you can do besides that is to put it on “sleep mode”.
In addition to that, this update would also put the control for music or radio playback with the Sleep / Wake button which is pretty convenient if you don’t want to turn-on your Nano everytime you want to go for the next song on your playlist.
