There are some games that take a long time to be released in other countries because of issues that needed to be resolved, much to the dismay of some fans. While US gamers are already enjoying the game, those from different countries have to wait for months before the issues are resolved and have the game released in their country. This is the case of Trenched , which is now known worldwide as Iron Brigade, which will just be released in Europe on November 30, 2011.

Double Fine Productions is the forefront developer of this Xbox 360 game which is set at the end of World War I. Two war veterans, Frank Woodruff and Vladimir Farnsworth, survived the strange radio communication attack, known as “the Broadcast”, that killed many around the world. Iron Brigade is a mech shooting and tower defense game where players play the role of a giant robot/machine called a trench that move around the battlefield to fight or defend their base from enemy attacks. The base, called the USS McKinley, has to be protected from the Monovisions and the player has to use different strategies to make sure that their base is not overrun by the enemy. Aside from that, the player can customize their trenches with different weapons and equipment.
The original title, Trenched, will be updated automatically to Iron Brigade and additionally grants gamers free DLC bonuses including infinite Survival Mode, new leaderboard and high-powered equipment. European gamers will have access to the game via XBLA for 1200 Microsoft Points ($15).
