It surely is fuzz when word on what the upcoming Apple TV would look like. A version of said TV dubbed as “iScreen” popped up and credit was to be given to CiccareseDesign particularly Federico Ciccarese (concept was made for MacRumors).

Though it’s not the official design from Apple, Ciccarese’s concept TV shows a curved glass display which may have gotten its inspiration from the iMac. Apart from this, other design touches were added. The fuzz surrounding all this was triggered when news came out that Apple will be venturing into the TV market as the late Steve Jobs said that he has “cracked” the secret of the television. Industry is now on the move to have voice-activated TV remotes in the upcoming year and this can be correlated to the Siri voice recognition system developed by Apple.
We can expect that such technology will be available in our living rooms sometime soon. Other players have started their initiatives like Microsoft which has the Xbox 360 and Comcast (CMCSA). Meanwhile, Samsung, LG and Sharp are doing the works for voice-enabled TV features. As for TV remotes, rumors are pointing to iPhone look-alikes wherein there’s a single button that sets the microphone.
Time would only tell when we are able to really peek or see what the Apple TV would be. They are saying that it may be out by 2013.
