Apple loves to make news as the California-based company recently released the iTunes Match. Originally slated to be released by end of October, we’re already happy that it’s up and running.

If you’re not that into Apple, then iTunes Match would probably be the equivalent of an algorithm to you. Well, it is basically a service that allows user to scan their music library and replace their tracks with newer ones or should we say higher quality ones straight from iTunes. It can be done courtesy of streaming from cloud and works very well with the iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad, Apple TV, Mac and PC devices.
With iTunes Match, there’s no more need for manually syncing to iTunes to have your favorite tracks into your Apple device. Users are able to do this anywhere thus eliminating the hassle of manual syncing. Moreover, it takes care of just about everything from replacing old tracks with new and higher ones to replacing tracks which have been not “legally” downloaded.
For those who are very excited, the iTunes Match service costs about $24.99 a year. It is available in the US but if you’re in UK, you may have to wait a bit as release date for the service isn’t clear yet (global release also hasn’t been determined).
