Have you heard about the Jolibook? Well, the Jolibook is actually the first ever Jolicloud-powered netbook device that is coming out soon from the makers of Jolicloud itself. Jolicloud is web-based netbook-friendly OS and apparently this would bring significant changes in the world of little computers upon its release.

The Jolibook was especially designed for those people who greatly depend on the cloud. Apparently, this upcoming netbook will be running with the Jolicloud 1.1 OS and also comes preloaded with various applications such as Facebook, Chromium, Spotify, VLC, Skype and a lot more. These applications are readily available within a click away.
As far as its specs are concerned, very limited information is available. All we know is that will be powered by an Intel Atom N550 processor and also comes with a built-in 250 GB hard drive. In addition to these specs, there were also some rumors that this new netbook is HTML5-based, which makes it quite impressive. It will also be able to play 720p video and comes with a VGA port and multiple sockets as well. Although nothing has been confirmed yet about this rumored specs.
Information about is actual measurements were not given, but some expects it to be around 10.1 inches. Price and launch date has not been announced, although the November launch date is very consistent in all gadget websites, so we may expect to see the Jolibook within this month. However, price is still undisclosed as of the moment, but many people say that it would be affordable. Well, let us just hope that it will be since that is what everyone always says about an upcoming product.

Unlike the traditional operating systems in the market, the Jolicloud focuses more on offline applications and installed programs. Jolicloud also runs its user interface in a web browser just like Google’s Chrome OS and gives more emphasis on using the so-called web apps like Google Docs and Twitter. So we can expect that the Jolibook will be a netbook that will highly focus on these areas as well.
The company is also hoping that this netbook that comes with pre-installed and configured copy of Jolicloud will further make such OS to be widely adapted by more PC manufacturers in the near future.
