For all you hungry gamers waiting for the inevitable release of Killzone 3 on February 25, landing exclusively for Playstation 3, it appears you will have something to look forward to other than its launch date.
Coming from the official Killzone page, the team has confirmed the end of its open multiplayer beta test for KZ3 in which thousands of gamers participated sharing their opinions and suggestions to make the release of this much awaited game near-perfect.
Lining up with that statement, the first ever Killzone 3 patch has been announced which is the result of the weeks of beta-testing. The company has announced that this patch should address issues on stability, network problems, key issues, etc.
This is them giving gratitude to you guys who didn’t stop bugging every admin you encountered, telling about the certain schtuff that needs to be rectified on the game.

As you can see, this patch is meant to solve those in-game glitches that makes the gameplay for KZ3 awry. I for one love the fact that the team has maintained a keen eye on that “Your Faction Has Won / Lost” glitch which produces some weird outputs during the beta test.
Interestingly, the release date for this Killzone 3 patch would be launch at the same day of its arrival next Friday and expect this patch to be “just the beginning”.
