Kindle and Kobo e-book reader: Black friday 2010 discount and price offers!

Posted on 26 October 2010 by pinoytutorial

Oh boy! You’ve got to love the competition of companies especially when the holiday is just around the corner (Black Friday 2010) and the thing that we’ll be featuring this time are all about e-book readers — predictions, early discounts and just about every price leaks we manage to find on how low e-book reader companies are willing to fathom just to market this gadget before the year’s end.

Amazon Kindle

So let’s start with the best e-book reader of the year the Amazon Kindle 3 (Yes, it’s the No. 1) a.k.a  Kindle Graphite. No matter how you change the specs, features, color of its next competitors (Nook, Asus, Sony e-reader) Amazon’s super e-reading gadget is well above them due to its simplicity, efficiency and its price of 149 USD (WiFi) and 199 USD (3G connection). This Black Friday, expect Amazon to drop the price of it to less than 50 USD more through an official price discount or via coupon codes (e.g: 50 dollar worth of Amazon coupon code) bringing the price to as low as $99 / $149 for WiFi and 3G!

Kobo E-reader and Wireless E-reader

Next stop will be the Kobo Ereader— the once bragged Kindle killer this year, which really didn’t happen at all. Nostalgia set aside, this Kobo Ereader will now be available for a price of 99 USD from 129.99 USD. And not only that, should you try to buy the Kobo wireless e-reader version which normally cost 139.99 USD you will be getting five free eBooks upon pre-ordering (saving you at least 10 bucks)

Expect more discounts and new way or marketing strategy being imposed by these e-reader companies as we dive into November. Not to mention, Barnes and Noble is just a day ahead of revealing its Nook Color e-reader with a built in private Nook Kids app store tagged at 249 USD – which I can already assume its price will be even lower on Black Friday 2010.
