This week has certainly been BIG for eReader manufacturers like Kobo and Barnes & Noble, as they unleashed their latest ebook readers catering some compelling specifications under a different price tag.
Likewise, if you won’t do your assignment and have your POV under one gadget, you might be missing the whole picture; especially when you see that each products have their own pros and cons that you need to be aware of.
As of today, engadget manage to provide this tally comparing the four most popular e-readers: B&N’s new Nook WiFi, KoBo eReader Touch, Kindle 3 and Sony Reader (PRS-350SC).
Here’s a screenshot of their specs comparison.
It’s noticeable that all of them has a strict price competition; although the Kobo eReader proves to be the cheapest at 129 bucks. Meanwhile, the Kindle 3 last year is still the only ereader you can get that has a 3G network support, provided that its price will set you back for 189 USD. Interestingly, Sony’s Pocket Edition seems to be the least interesting of the group, not only because its price is only less than 10 bucks from the 3G Kindle, but it doesn’t support WiFi or 3G at all!
If you’re that type of a book junkie and you’ve been buying all your online schtuff from Amazon, it’s very easy to pick Kindle 3, especially now that its price is only 164 USD for its 3G (ad-supported) version. Then again, you can’t deny the beauty of the new Nook and Kobo Touch Edition. In the end, it will ultimately come towards your own preferences.

I think any of them would be winners. They are all great products even though some might be better than others.
