Just by looking at the photos, you can see that there’s a hidden sauce with this HDD device and that is the melding of trackpad technology over the surface of this Lacie Float. Question is why? Actually, the theory behind it will blow you away. So our designer (Andre Silva) fantasizes this device to be the only thing you need if you want to run a computer, just by merely connecting this Lacie Float over your Monitor and voila! You can already use it, and since it has a trackpad, no need for you to use a mouse.

Now I know this is kind of hard to believe and against the economics or any physical devices known to man at this period, but wouldn’t it be great if we could just plug and play those bulky CPUs making its size lilliputian under an extraordinaire’ storage device that will serve as a genie gadget for everything to work?

Oh I almost forgot! This one is made out of carbon fiber and glass base were there’s an LED to illuminate it on a futuristic kind of way whenever you tap it.

Only in your dreams huh?
