After months of waiting, Valve is now ready to launch its next sequel for its Left 4 Dead game entitled “The Sacrifice”. Gamers will surely envy steam-users now that Valve decided to release the Left 4 Dead: The Sacrifice as well as the original five campaigns plus its previous add-ons (The passing and No mercy) for free in Steam. You can have it as a DLC (downloadable content) for free when you use it on your PC. As for Steam MAC users, you will also have the same benefits and you can play it just like any ordinary steam games.
Its release date will be on October 5 (which is today) The sad news are for those Xbox 360 players, they will need to shell out 560 Microsoft points to get this add-on (which is about 7 USD)
Left 4 Dead: The Sacrifice will be available for Left 4 Dead 1 and 2 in separate downloads. The former will get you the Sacrifice campaign maps, playable in cooperative, versus or survival mode. While the latter will let you play the campaign with the original Left 4 Dead survivors. It’s important to mention that those who will get L4D2: The Sacrifice will also receive an L4D2 version of the original Left 4 Dead: No Mercy and The Passing campaign as well.
Due to this release, L4D community is starting to roll-out their comic-gallery complete with exquisite drawings explaining the story of Left 4 Dead: The Sacrifice in 4 Parts.
