This is my next revealed so much about the upcoming Android 3.0 Lenovo Honeycomb tablets, Think Slate, two days ago from a leakage of Lenovo’s files. There are 2 forthcoming ThinkPad Tablets with 7-inch and 10.1 inch display sizes, respectively. Features, hardware and software specifications as well as price and availability are clearly described in the files that were said to be a few months old.

A timeline of Lenovo’s Media Tablet Products was included in the PowerPoint slides that suggest the release of a 7-inch Honeycomb tablet due in the fourth quarter of the year, besides the 10.1-inch Think Slate. Not much is said about this 7-incher tablet, but the image conveys that it will have a dual core ARM processor packed with 1280 x 800 resolution display.
The Think Slate’s Android 3.0 operating system will be adapted to this unknown 7-inch tablet, plus Lenovo’s own crafted Android 3.0 skin, Lenovo’s UI or Le OS. It is yet unknown what the other specifications will the Chinese manufacturer include in this 7-incher but it will probably be close to the specifications of the Skylight. It is, however, expected to be available worldwide this year’s fourth quarter.
For the 10 inch ThinkPad tablet, it is targeted to be released in August. But due to Lenovo’s software development still in progress, it is expected to launch somewhat September for a starting competitive price of $499. On the other hand, we have yet to see price details for the 7-inch Think Slate. Stay tuned.
