Similar with the refresh of IdeaCentre B series AIOs, Lenovo is doing the same strategy for the IdeaCentre K430 announcing it two days before the official start of CES (Consumer Electronic Show).
For starters, the device still holds that traditional tower desktop build packing with a set of premium specifications like the latest Intel Core CPU (we’re guessing it should begin with Core i7-2700k and up), supports dual-graphics card build via NVIDIA SLI or AMD Radeon’s CrossfireX technology, and up to 32GB of DDR3 memory.
Since the norm of today’s hard drive storage is on how many Terabytes you can have, K430 gives users a generous 4TB SATA HDD and up to 128GB SSD in case you need for a faster data transferring right on your desktop PC. Purchasing the unit lets you have a choice to get a custom-designed 500GB external hard drive along with Universal Storage Module dock which should work with any USM-ready hard drives perfect for users who are on-the-go. Like any high-end desktop computer, there’s also a power switch enabling users to control its cooling solution setting it to auto, turbo and cool depending on your preferences.
But we’re not done yet! Lenovo also unveils the H520s Slim Desktop PC made for customers needing space for their home computing needs. Naturally, expect its specifications not to be as high-end compared with K430 but it’s already enough if you’ll use it for word processing applications, internet browsing and office-related work. It comes with 2TB storage, 8GB RAM and AMD Radeon HD7570 or NVIDIA GeForce GTX630 video-card with 2GB VRAM –- making it robust enough to run high-end games last year like Crysis 2.
If you want to know their prices, the K430 tower PC will fork out $599 hitting a release on May while the Slim H520s will be yours at $499 on June.
