Just when you thought Lenovo has taken a break from releasing new versions of its ideapad, comes this welcoming update for the models. Recently, the L company manages to silently release its new Lenovo Ideapad U260 packing with some specifications that any user would appreciate. Interestingly, this company seems to be on its usual technique again of just releasing their ideapads without breaking a sound towards the blogosphere.

Anyway, as for its specification, this ultraportable device sports a 12.5 inch screen under a very thin (0.71 inch) and lightweight (3.04 pounds) form-factor. On its core lies a ULV (ultra low voltage) type of i3/15 processor, in which you can customize upon pre-ordering. Its RAM is set to 4GB DDR3, 320 GB storage capacity, WiFi / Bluetooth support and peculiarly but not a cause of a major stir, this device doesn’t have an ExpressCard slot instead, you will get a four-cell battery in which Lenovo claims it can last up to 4 hours of runtime. As for the other goodies, you can grab the Ideapad U260 with choices of color ranging from Mocha Brown and Clementine Orange – those shades of Orange and Brown that ya’ll can think of. It will also support HD viewing for a total entertainment plus VGA and HDMI for a quick connect towards your ideapad to the TV.

The Lenovo Ideapad U260 release date is not yet announced, meaning it will be revealing itself soon and its price is predicted to be on the 10 benjamins level. Just don’t forget this one doesn’t have an optical drive, okay?
