Lenovo Ideapad Z Series Overview

After launching a new series of notebooks called the ThinkPad, Lenovo had not yet ended their surprises for us with its new series of IdeaPad called the IdeaPad Z series. The new series of Lenovo’s notebooks is speculated to be a more student oriented gadget having the latest Intel processors and advanced graphics also with large amounts of hard drive space for the storage of study notes and perhaps to have a Windows 7 Student Edition.

The Z series is not as gaudy or light as the U series but it still sports subtle and attractive designs and features. The series has the gorgeous black cover and silver bezel and deck. It also has the glossy finger print loving covers with metallic effect and a chiclet keyboard. It measures less than 1.2 inches thick somehow a little bit thicker with the U series.

The new series includes the IdeaPad Z360, IdeaPad Z560 and IdeaPad Z565. The Z360 has a 13.3 inches display screen, smallest in the mix of notebooks while n the other hand Z560 spots a 15.6 inches screen. Both notebooks are paced with standard voltage 201 Intel Core i3, i5 and i7 processor depending n your choice and a NVIDIA GeForce graphics. The Z565 also has the same 15.6 inch display screen but it is run by AMD’s newest quad core Phenom II X4 and ATI Mobility Radeone graphics. All the notebooks in this series are affordable yet packed with quality and promises great performance. Prices will start from $649.

The Z series also has RAM up t 8 GB, USB 20, eSATA, 5 in 1 card reader, direct share feature, 80211 n Wi-Fi Ethernet, optional Blu-ray Disc TM drive, Veriface facial recogniotn and ne key rescue It also offers a 1366x 768 resolution for high quality viewing experience joined by Dolby Advance audio for a great audio experience. The notebooks also have the one key theater feature optimizing visual setting on just one key.

However, the new Zseries IdeaPad just like the U series will start to be shipped on June. So looks like we still have a month to wait for this new generation of notebooks.
