Looks like Lenovo is pulling a rabbit out of its hat. What was previously a dying tablet device, the LePad (you know, the Lenovo plus the Pad, hence the name Le and Pad, to make it uber classy) has been resurrected and may see the light of day on 2011 in the US.

Based on WSJ’s report, it seems that China’s largest and the Worlds 4th largest PC maker is on the move to have a Tablet of their own to compete with the likes of the Apple iPad, Samsung Galaxy Tab, Dell Streak, RIM PlayBook, and loads more.
Lenovo CEO Yang Yuanqing didn’t release any statements regarding pricing but people can expect their latest tablet entry by 2011 for China first, then elsewhere like the US of A. With a tablet in the works, Lenovo also let loose a $15.1 million investment program for Devs to make Mobile Internet Apps and Services for their own Lenovo Store (iTunes Store, Android Market alike service).
What’s interesting to note is that Lenovo is looking towards using Chrome OS for their unnamed tablet, but with the OS still underwraps, the tablet may sport an Android OS in the meantime. Expect more updates on this developing news as it comes out.
