Here is some good news for Lenovo fans out there. The company has recently unveiled the Lenovo Thinkpad E425, E525 and ThinkVision LT1421 monitor. This seems to be a very important step on the part of the company as it tries to expand its Thinkpad Edge line of small business notebooks. These two new ThinkPad Edge laptop and new monitor aims to simplify the overall computing experience for small to medium businesses by providing a slimmer and powerful designed that is well complemented by the latest in technology.
Let us take a closer look at the specs and features of the three new releases from Lenovo.
Lenovo Thinkpad E425 and E525 business laptops
The Thinkpad E425 is actually a 14-inch laptop while the E525 is a 15.6-inch laptop that is both designed for small-to-medium businesses and features a more polished design that comes with spill-resistant, noise suppressing keyboards and larger multitouch touchpads. Both of them are powered by AMD’s A-Series Accelerated Processing Units (APUs) and also come with Vision Pro Technology and an integrated AMD Radeon discrete class graphics and DirectX 11 support specs that include the following:
- 8 GB of RAM and up to 750 GB of storage space
- 16 brightness settings
- multimedia and expansion options -DVD burner, powered USB port, 4-1 media card reader and support for HDMI
- Optional fingerprint reader for convenient and secure log-in
- WiFI, HDMI out, USB/eSATA combo port, 4-in-1 card reader, and built-in webcam for video calls
- preloaded with Windows 7 OS
- 6 hours of battery life
The Thinkpad E425 and E525 will both be available starting this month and will be offered at a price starting at $ 549.
Lenovo ThinkVision LT1421 Monitor
The Lenovo ThinkVision LT1421 monitor is a 14-inch monitor that was designed as a portable second monitor that will essentially give mobile professionals out there an option to display spreadsheets and make presentations on-the-go. This monitor connects through a USB and can be propped up with a photo frame stand. This 14-inch monitor will also be out this August and offered at a price of $ 219.99.
All of these three new products will be sold through business partners and the Lenovo website. So watch out for it.
