February saw the birth of those T-series Core i3 powered thinkpads from Lenovo and it marked another milestone of success for the company. Today, Lenovo is in bliss to announce that they have sold 60 million Thinkpads and there are roughly 14 thinkpads being sold per minute, making Lenovo as the fastest growing PC company– And quite frankly, I am amazed. I used to be a lenovo guy before and my so-called buddies here coys me around why I don’t want to switch to Apple? Just because they perceive the design of Lenovo as ‘too old’. I believe they are wrong and if you’ll ask me, the design of Lenovo laptops are really classic and even if it’s 2010, they manage to maintain its black design throughout the years.

To celebrate their success and its eighteen years of blaze, this North-Carolina based company is making some welcoming upgrades for their T-series Thinkpad laptops (T410, T410s and T510) by making its graphics card all NVIDIA Optimus ready. Specifically bagging the NVIDIA NVS 3100M GPU, taking care of dynamic switching between integrated and discrete graphics. Which in time will reduce the overall battery consumption of this laptop up to 33%. And if you think that’s not enough, users can also pre-order one now and pick a core i5 package without any strings attached. Making the price of T410 and T510 tagged at 1,299 USD and the slimmer T410s at 1,849 USD.
