Still can’t get enough of the laptops coming out as the Christmas season draws near? Well, Lenovo may not be coming out with one, but they will upgrade their Lenovo ThinkPad X1 since the one at present is not so hip and cool. Now, Lenovo will be updating everything on it to make sure that it will meet up the expectations of consumers and perform well.

First on the updating list is the laptop, called Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Hybrid, will be having Windows 7/Media Mode switching. Here, the laptop can switch from Windows 7 to any special instant OS such as Android or Splashtop. If you think that is cool already, think again because there is more performance for the X1 Hybrid.
The device will have the same media interface as that of the IdeaPad K1 and will have 10 hours of battery life if it’s just for web browsing and other non-media tasks. If you plan to use the Thinkpad X1 Hybrid for multimedia tasks such as playing audio or wacthing videos, then you will have 8 hours of battery compared to the 4 hours in the current ThinkPad X1. With these updated features, you will have superior performance for the Thinkpad X1 Hybrid without burning a hole in your pocket.
The Lenovo Thinkpad X1 Hybrid will be released this month, but no price has been disclosed for it yet. If this is your kind of laptop, better watch out for the details.
