Another ThinkPad gets spotted: X100E unleashed!
Lenovo has launched their quartet of Thinkpads namely T410s, T410, T510 and W510. These are Lenovo’s version of affordable gadgets. We have also seen that Think Edge 13 has undergone a makeover, and now Lenovo is feeding us with another new ThinkPad.
Meet ThinkPad X100e, an ultraportable laptop that will be powered by your choice of processor both will be AMD (sorry no Intel option for this ThinkPad) infused with VisonPro technology.
So what will this rumored no more gadget will be giving its master (what I meant was soon to be owner). Ultraportability from a laptop! Take note this is not a notebook or a netbook so please don’t expect this one to be cute. This gadget weighs 3 pounds and will amaze your eyes with an 11.6 inch high-definition LCD screen so you will never get enough of staying in front of your very own Lenovo ThinkPad. X100e will be equipped with a multi-touchpad, a trackpoint, built-in webcam and Wi-Fi plus a 4 in 1 card reader.
Of course this one has Bluetooth and believe it or not a 3G connectivity(optional)! Add another feature of a full-size keyboard that is spill resistant keyboard that means it’s not just beauty, it’s also neat and easy to clean (you’ll never know, accident always happen, some careless dude might just spill Coke on you highly-priced possession while you’re eating at Burger King right? You wouldn’t want to charge of murder!) Oh and by the way the processors you can choose from are AMD Athlon Neo and AMD Turion dual core processors. It will also include 4GB of RAM, 320GB hard drive, GPS and a resolution of 1366 x 768.
Lenovo ThinkPad X100e will be available in 3 fantastic hues; Midnight Black, Heatwave Red and a Non-US version of Arctic White. Wondering how much this gadget will cost you? Not so much actually, price tag at $499.
Below is an overview (more of a point where it is kind of thing to me) of ThinkPad X100E so you know what to really expect. Plus a video from Lenovo’s analyst and program manager.
