We’ve just finished reporting those new generation of Thinkpad Edge laptops and it appears we have another update from Lenovo as it releases another laptop; only this time, it will serve as an upgrade under the series of its Thinkpad notebooks.
So this one will be called as the Thinkpad X120e and if you’re an avid follower of this device, you may have encountered its older brother – X100e — which was touted to be a failbook just because it has grade of F on its battery which can last up to 3.5 hours only. As of today, Lenovo is trying to undone those mistakes by releasing the X120e and hopefully, you’re still looking at the half-full part of the glass here because this one is made for the green team.

So this one will be the same 11.6 inch laptop along with its classic jetblack Lenovo Thinkpad look although its main difference is its processor power. Instead of using a puny AMD Neo hardware, this one will be utilizing the latest AMD Fusion APU that we’re waiting for and you can customize it upon pre-ordering if it’ll be a Zacate E-240 or E-350 type of processor. Tagging along with that is AMD Radeon HD 6310 GPU which is the current most powerful graphics card today for a Thinkpad class. Its RAM and HDD storage unit is still concealed but expect it to be on 2GB / 4GB and 8GB with 250GB – 1TB HD storage capacity.

Interestingly, L made some fine changes with this machine as it claims that it can take a full load for 6.5 hours battery life thanks to its Energy Star 5.0 specifications. If you are interested, you can get this new Thinkpad X120e on your kitchen for a price of 399 USD and its release date will be on February. I say, that’s a heck of an amazing deal don’t you think?
