Lenovo has recently unveiled its newest laptop – the ThinkPad X121e.

The ThinkPad X121e is 11.6-inches and has a 1366×768 display panel. Under its hood is Intel’s Core i3-2357 CPU processor which is basically responsible for running things around. This is supported by AMD’s Fusion E-350 chip however user can also opt to go with the Fusion C-50 APU. Memory wouldn’t be a problem as 320GB of hard disk drive space is provided although there is the option too to choose a 128 GB solid state drive.
Other goodies included are three (3) USB 2.0 ports (one is powered), HDMI out, VGA out, and a 4-in-1 memory card reader. If you are lucky enough, some X121e configurations come with a WiMAX radio. It also comes with three or six-cell battery (depending on the model) and battery life can reach up to eight hours (that is if user chooses to partner it with an Intel-based system).
Currently, the ThinkPad X121e is only available in Japan and Europe. It’s said that the X121e is already in sale on the land of the rising sun with availability stated at the end of July. As for Europe, the laptop is already listed in various sites. No word out yet on when it will hit US shores.
