Also known as the LG Cookie Plus, GS500 is an addition the LG Cookie series. This model comes with a 3G feature that boasts networking access and easy web browsing applications and widgets, a 3.0-megapixel camera, video recorder, FM radio and an MP3 player which you can listen to through the handset’s 3.5mm jack. Weighing 92.5 grams, it is neatly packed in a 107.1 x 52.5 x 11.9 mm case, and comes in black, silver and purple color.

Launched alongside the Cookie Plus is the LG Cookie Fresh or the LG GS290, an almost similar yet more affordable version. Although it is considered an entry-level phone, this unit is amazingly packed with useful and entertaining features including a 2.0-megapixel camera, FM radio, push e-mail service and built-in networking direct access to applications such as Facebook and Twitter. It weighs slightly lighter than the Cookie Plus at 89 grams cased in 108 x 53 x 12.5 mm dimensions. Cookie Fresh is also available in more yummy colors than the Cookie Plus.

Now, seeing that LG is not showing any sign of backing out of the mobile market game any time soon, are you going to wait for stocks to run out? Given both phones’ impressive qualities, it’s good to know that there is a brand we can look forward to every time.
