Another LG phone to beat the odds? Let’s find out
LG launches their first Android phone in LG InTouch Max GW620. You may not be so surprised with what this looks like. With all the phones being launched and released everything seems to look the same. I would say the looks of this phone didn’t impress me much. This is the rumored Etna from LG but now everything is crystal clear that it’s not!
The looks of InTouch is not something built to impress or to stun. It’s plain and more likely made to resemble other phones. I have to be honest and I bet you would agree that this phone shows off nothing but standard. The features aren’t that stunning either, but it’s the biggest leap LG has done with their phones.
LG InTouch Max GW620 has a brushed black metal finish with glossy black bezel the keyboard is white (keys) on black and the other color has a silver bezel while the keys is a combination of white, gray and black. The features? InTouch Maz will be injected with a 5 megapixel camera with flash and will be running Android 1.5 (not too advance since there’s a 2.0 now right?)
The memory isn’t such a good news since it’s only 170MB which you can increase by buying a memory card (not so enticing isn’t it?). This phone of course will have the standard specification just like any other phones such as 3G, BlueTooth and Wi-Fi.
This phone won’t be out till February and it’s not going to be released elsewhere other than UK. No details yet on when it will be launched in US or Asia. The LG InTouch Max GW620 will be available from T-Mobile and Virgin Mobile.
T-Mobile will offer these phone to their customers for free if you sign a 24-month contract at £20 a month. On the other hand you can get this phone from Virgin Mobile for £22 per month with a 18-month contract (you also get the phone for free) For a more detailed techie stuff you can refer to the video below.
