The new millennium has indeed given birth to a whole new era in the field of technology. It has given a new meaning to console ownership such that it is no longer just a business or office apparatus but a medium of communication and entertainment as well.
One of the promising releases is the touch screen console, specifically the cellular phones popularized by top brands like Nokia and Apple in the mobile market. This year, more and more touch screen cellular phones are being sold because of its overwhelming response and increasing demand.
LG, one of the promising brands known worldwide today, has recently introduced an addition to the touch screen hype. But it’s not just that feature that makes this newcomer an exciting wait.
To be released possibly this month or next, the LG LU2300 has already captured the attention of many avid mobile phone users. Provided with an amazing 1GHz Snapdragon processor, a slide keyboard, 5.0-megapixel camera and video recorder that comes with geo-tagging and, WiFi and GPS connectivity, this Android 2.1 equipped handset certainly knows how to wow the market.
Also, this LG family addition has an optical trackball the replaces the usual navigation buttons. Quite convenient, don’t you think?
There is, however, a rather confusing rumour that this handset is the piece that LG is working on with the codename Aloha. With almost similar features based on the rumoured specifications of the codenamed phone, is it possible that the LU2300 be the talked about Aloha? What we know of is the LG LU2300 set to be first released in Korea. Maybe LU2300 is just a Korean-release name while Aloha is an international name for the said phone? This is just a random guess. We’ll just have to wait and see until the real thing is launched.
For now, let’s enjoy and drool over the LU2300 features and hope for its release soon in the country.
