LG Electronics, one of the leading and trusted brands when it comes to electronic products has just introduced two new flagship devices at Mobile World Congress held in Barcelona, Spain. These two devices that we are talking about consist of the LG Optimus 3D, which is an eye-catching smartphone that boasts an unparalleled 3D performance and the LG Optimus Pad, which is a true Android tablet that was designed to offer its users a full viewing experience while maintaining its portability as well.

These two devices are expected to make LG a leader in the next generation of smartphone and tablet devices. In one of the statements made by Dr. Jong-seok Park, the president and CEO of LG Electronics, he said that these two products are just part of the beginning and they plan to continue in coming up with various innovations on their products that will help meet the demands of various consumers all over the world. Let us take a closer look at these two new devices.
The LG Optimus 3D is basically a 3D smartphone that comes with exceptional features and performance that boasts an advanced dual core, dual channel and dual-memory architecture. In addition to this, the LG Optimus 3D also comes with the following specs as well:
- sports a 4.3-inch WVGA touchscreen that comes with a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels and 16M colors
- powered by a 1 GHz OMAP4 dual-core processor
- features a dual-lens 8MP camera that enables its users to capture any moment in true 3D content
- comes with multiple connectivity options that include HDMI, DLNA, Bluetooth, USB and Wi-Fi
- comes with an external card slot of up to 32GB

The LG Optimus Pad on the other hand is tablet that will apparently set a new trend in the tablet market. It comes with an 8.9-inch display that is very comfortable to use even one-handed. Basically, this new tablet will offer its users an immersive multimedia environment and interesting specs that include the following:
- comes with a 15:9 aspect ratio and full HD 1080p decoding
- sports an 8.9 inch display that comes with a resolution of 1280×768 pixels
- runs with Google’s latest platform called Honeycomb
- powered by 1 GHz NVIDIA Tegra 2 dual-core processor
- equipped with a 5 MP camera
- comes with 32768 built-in memory
- comes with various connectivity options that include Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and USB

Pricing for both devices are still unknown as of the moment. As far as its release date is concerned, the LG Optimus Pad is expected to be available with the Q1 of 2011 while the release date of the LG Optimus 3D has not yet been announced yet. Watch out for more details.
