In Korea, LG has launched its new additions to its line on portable personal computers: the LG X200 Netbook and the LG T280 CULV Laptop.
The LG X200 is said to run on the new generation of Intel Atom N450 or N470 Pine trail platform CPU at 1.66GHZ. The screen display measures 10.1 inches with ample resolution of 1366 by 768 pixels thereby allowing the user to have more desktop space for ease of use. It is also known to have the Intel GMA 3150 for graphics.
This low power consumption netbook has an internal storage of 1 giga bytes of random access memory, chicklet styled keyboard, hard disk drive of 250 GB. There can also be found some integrated support for 802.11n Wi-Fi and a couple of USB ports. The LG X200 has a mass weight of 2.7 pounds. The LG portable PC is speculated to be available within this month at an estimated price of 642 dollars. No words about its availability in Europe and US.
The LG T280 CULV Laptop actually comes in two variants, Black and Pink. They do not only differ in colors but they also differ in technical specifications.
The LG T280-GR63K is the black version and has the following characteristics:
- 11.6 inches LED Backlit HD (1366×768 pixels) LCD display or screen
- Intel Core 2 Duo Processor SU7300 1.3GHz powered CPU with 3 MB Cache
- Windows 7 Home Premium for its operating system

- Intel Graphic Media Accelerator 4500MHD shared graphics
- hard disk drive of 500GB
- measures 293 (W) x 200 (D) x 16.7 ~ 31.5 (H) mm, weighs a total of 1.39Kg inclusive of the 6-cell Li-ion battery
- Wireless LAN support of 802.11 b/g/n (1×2) up to 300Mbps
- costs about 1,260,000 Won Korea ($1,086 USD)
The Pink Model or LG T280-LR3PK has the following specifications:

- Processing power by Intel Pentium Dual Processor SU4100 1.3GHz on a 2 MB Cache
- OS of Windows 7 Home Premium

- 320GB hard disk drive
- Weighs about 1.39Kg (6-cell Li-ion battery included)
