As expected, the Sony Google TV has officially been weighed-in. And if you happened to be one of those curious cats who are wondering which is better – Big S or Green L? – then you might as well want to see the features of both.

Big Guns: More agile looking controller. You can use your smartphone (Android or Apple) as the remote controller. Keyboard for a more traditional way of browsing through your TV. A TV-camera if you want to do some web-cam chat straight through your box.
I almost forgot! Its processor is 1.2Ghz Intel Atom CE4100. Pretty efficient if you will only use it for browsing and watching videos on the net.
Price: 299 USD if you’re only aiming for the Revue Dish + Keyboard.
Plus 150 USD for the TV and plus 130 bucks for the mini controller. Giving you a total of $579 without the TV.
Sony Google TV

Big Guns: You can already buy Sony’s ‘Googlified’ Bravia TV-sets (24, 32, 40 and 46 inch) when you purchase its Google Dish built on a Bluray Player that comes with a futuristic PS3 and Scientific calculator looking remote control (think of it as a package). The processor is still undisclosed by Sony.
Price: Bluray with Built-in Google TV Dish for 399 USD – without the TV.
The price of the TVs and their corresponding models are as follows: NSX-24GT1 ($599.99), the 32-inch class NSX-32GT1 ($799.99), the 40-inch NSX-40GT1 ($999.99), and the 46-inch NSX-46GT1 ($1,399.99)
Come to think of it, it really depends on your perception how you will mix the package up. I mean if you are too ‘shy’ to spend almost 2 grand but still want to get the 46 incher Bravia with Google TV experience, then you can just get the Revue Dish + Keyboard which costs 299 USD plus the NSX-46GT1 Sony HDTV model.
The other mix for this one is for buyers who want to have the blu-ray experience of Google TV. If that’s the case then you may want to stick with the normal package of Sony and not go hybrid with Google TV Revue + another TV.
If you still haven’t figured your mind just yet, then check out why we think Sony Google TV is the best pick for a user who wants to experience the internet TV on his / her home.

I haven’t used the Sony Google TV, but I have used the Logitech Revue and I just wanted to provide my feedback from my personal experience. I work at DISH also so when it was first announced that we would be integrating the software, I had the chance to play with the beta version and it was somewhat buggy and I decided to wait until after it was released to try it again. I tried it again after it was released to the public and it was definitely easy to use as well as set up. I didn’t have any issues with the playback and the Revue is also a wireless modem which is even better. I always play around with it when people are around because I love it and I got it for the DISH subscriber price of $179. I can’t complain!
