Bored with the usual white of Apple computers? That MacBook Air boring your sight with the same silver color everyday? Then why not color it to your specifications? Here’s the company Colorware with their take on the MacBook Air.

Colorware is a corporation based in Winona, Minnesota that offers custom coloring services on a multitude of tech products like laptops, gaming consoles, computers, and the like. They started back in 2000 after testing and experimenting on different coatings for gadgets. They now have the trademark high-gloss, scratch-resistant polymer-based coating on almost any kind of gadget you can think of.
The only catch to all this Colorware business for consumers is the added price tag to the usual price of a gadget. Today, Colorware is now offering the MacBook Air 2010 colored to the exact specifications of the customer. The price… well… that’s another story all together. The price is set at a bank breaking $1,850 for anyone who really wants a different looking MacBook Air 2010. And no, you can’t send them your MacBook Air for them to color. People will have to buy a brand spanking new “ColorWare MacBook Air 2010″ direct from them.
Here’s a YouTube video of a Colorware MacBook Air 2010 for all to see while pondering on the steep price:
Now the only advantage I can see over this is that you will be different from the rest of the MacBook Air toting crowd in Starbucks.
