We all know the Microsoft Arc Touch mouse didn’t turn out what users have expected but it doesn’t mean the company will stop from there. In fact, for the past few months, MS has revealed several mices including the “express” and “comfort” on the first quarter of this year.
As of today, an interesting find has been unearthed by boys from PL revealing the Microsoft Explorer Touch Mouse. Basically, it’s described as the hybrid form of the MS Touch and Arc Touch Mouse all on its sleek glossy Blue or Noire color. While its specs weren’t fully disclosed, this peripheral will use BlueTrack Technology – Microsoft’s patented mouse tracking technology – making this device be able to work on most of the surfaces including steel and glass. It comes with five buttons which you can customized (not mentioned if its macro programmable though). Just like the Arc Touch mouse, it comes with a vibrating haptic touch scroll pad which you can toggle on or off.
As you can see from the picture, it doesn’t come with any cables so we’re guessing it’ll have a 2.4GHz wireless receiver or may also be capable on connecting with a USB port like the Arc Touch. Price said to hit you for 70 pounds and its release date will be available by the end of this month on UK. US launch still pending.
