Microsoft Mobile Surface Program Review

Posted on 08 March 2010 by pinoytutorial

I know that we have the same sentiments when it comes to Microsoft’s mobile operating system; it’s slow and not at par with the other User Interface in the market being used by other mobile phone manufacturers, but I guess Microsoft has finally gotten their act up together to create a something that will definitely make critics and consumers raise their eye brows and say ‘Finally!’

Now just to clarify things to you my dear readers the Microsoft Mobile Surface is a program that will bring any surface into life. That means you can expect a normal coffee-table or even a piece of paper to bring you a 3D experience anytime anywhere with Microsoft newest technology.

Have you watched Avatar? Have you seen how they pick a screen display and throw it into a glass looking screen that can be carried around the lab? This innovation from Microsoft seems a little bit similar; actually I can say that it will pass as Avatar inspired technology.

My question is; is this the start of Microsoft’s improved software and mobile user interface? I hope so; at least have Windows Mobile at par with iPhone’s UI.

You would find this technology from Microsoft really amazing! One of the things you can do with this Mobile surface is that you can control the you surface even without touching it! Thanks to its three dimensional control that sense not only the lateral movements of your hands but also the distance of your hands to the surface.

A good example of what I’m talking about is from the video we have for you. As you can see the hand of the person doing the demo need not to touch the table to control the volume of the program being used, this shows how the three dimensional control have a greater sensitivity to the movements of the hands.

Now with this kind of program being launched soon (no exact date by the way) we can expect that more and more phones will have a projector included in the package. Seems interesting to me, does this mean we will have more mobile phone companies getting a Microsoft application?
