In the not so distant past, it seemed impossible to having your smartphone display projected. Fast forward in the present and give credit to evolving technology, such impossibility is now a reality thanks to handy mini-sized projectors.

MiLi has just unleashed its new pocket projector, dubbed as the Pico Projector 2. This mini projector has shaved off thickness by about 50% making it slimmer (compared to previous ones). It also has omitted the fan unlike its predecessor making it more silent. This cute projector can also project a screen size of about 5 – 70 inches with resolution being at 640×480 pixels.
Moreover, brightness is pegged at 10 lumens. Battery life has also been extended to 2 1/2 hours for a charge (it takes about four hours). It does work well with iPad (1 and 2), iPhone (2 to 4) and iPod Touch. It can even be connected directly to PC, MAC or any AV device. There’s also a 1W built-in-speaker as well as an Audio jack output.
It’s a definite plus having a handy projector that fits in your pocket. The Pico Projector 2 starts shipping by May 25 in the UK with price at £280 or roughly $452. Expect it to be on US shores in the next coming weeks. Watch out for it!
