Mimo’s new touch monitors are quite an innovation and a spectacle. The Magic Touch and Magic Touch Deluxe are solely powered by USB.

Both of these monitors offer a 10.1-inch capacitive touch screen capable of bringing 1024×600 pixel display resolution. They basically function as secondary monitors to a user’s PC/MAC or laptop. What’s really amazing and commendable with the device is that it only uses a single USB 2.0 cable (no hassle in terms of cords or wires!). These monitors can host video chat as well as display important emails. It can also monitor the social networks that user is mostly fond of.
Mimo’s Deluxe version has an added feature and it is the two-port USB hub. Charging is not really its forte as it necessitates the use of an AC adapter to fully deliver the work or functionality.
There is a bit of a downside though as Windows 7 devices/machines are required in order to take full advantage of the touch capabilities of these monitors. By the way, these devices are single touch only although it’s technically capable of four-point multi-touch.
Those interested in having Mimo’s monitors can pre-order the Magic Touch and Magic Touch Deluxe for $300 and $330 respectively. As for shipping, it is expected to make its way to customers before Christmas.
