One of the highlights of the Microsoft E3 2011 announcement, aside from the fact that MS unleashes its “entertainment” plans for Xbox 360, is the bombardment of Kinect-related titles this year.
For those who are unaware, it’s now confirmed that not only Minecraft will be available on Android devices, but it will be ported as well on Xbox 360 Kinect!
I know this may sound a little bit complex or baffling, but we tried our best to fill in the gaping holes for this announcement and we found that the game will have its lead platform for Xbox 360, whereas its Kinect port would only come as an added peripheral, meaning, it won’t be exclusively tied on the game.
Likewise, this is something nice because this should mean that players would still be able to choose the default D-pad controller while on the heat of the game.

Interestingly, several sources also hinted that another team is working for its PC and Mobile version, giving us the idea that the popular cult-game would also be ported on Windows Phone 7 devices in the near future.
As far as the Minecraft Xbox 360 release date is concern, our best estimate is it should arrive by the end of this year if all goes well on the developer’s side.
